Do reviewers agree when a daily VA article brief is ready?
A paired review method for testing whether brief-readiness rules produce consistent decisions.
Methodology
Observation window: September 14, 2026, 00:00–23:59 Asia/Jakarta. Research question: Given the same frozen briefs and readiness fields, how often do two reviewers independently reach the same ready, unclear, or missing decision? Scope: One dated queue, one stored version of each eligible brief, and the declared pre-draft fields. Later edits, article quality, and other teams are excluded. Method: Define every field and coding rule before selecting the queue. Two reviewers independently code each field, preserve their first decisions, and then reconcile differences. Report agreement by field and brief. The cited primary guidance informs the criteria; the study design, coding, calculations, and local interpretations are ours.
